Get a small piece if you can. Only like 20 or 30 bucks and it's so fatty a small piece, 4-6 oz, is pretty filling. Costco sells it but in kinda of big portions.

It's worth trying once I think.

It's something that's worth trying. You can order it online for an almost reasonable price. I wouldn't bother getting in a restaurant through, unless you have the money to burn.

I've only had A5 in Yakiniku restaurants, it's small portions so you won't spend too much. It's good. Regular wagyu is better for cooking if you want a steak or something, I do buy it thin-sliced for hot pot sometimes but I'll admit that's a waste.

Spent 800 bucks on a meal with Kobe beef in Dallas once. Totally worth doing once in your life just for the experience, but I would never do it again. I'd rather get a nice porterhouse from the local butcher and a bottle of wine for 1/10th the price.
