I've gotten girls who play with my chest, shoulders, have my info stolen so they can find out where i live, have had girls who stared each other down to take my order, get told that they're jealous that i talk with some other worker more, have cornered me in the bathroom, have waited for me outside by my car, pretended to want to get into star wars books because they saw me reading one, and just plain staring (fuck me eyes), but NO ONE has ever asked me out.
Expectations are on the guy. Always.

I feel bad for retail and food staff because i've seen how they always get hit on everyday. I don't want to add to that and just act friendly, to a fault.
I've had fucking guy workers shake their heads at me for not taking the "hint" when i showed up a week later. Didn't go back to that place for like 4 months because of that.

Also got ignored by every worker at some other place because of the unspoken rule of needing to ask a girl out because she told me she wanted to see some movie that i dont even remember anymore. Fucking middle school shit from 20-29 year old girls at retail.
This wasn't so bad, because they just ignored me, so i kept on going anyway.
