Where do you guys go for actual good recipes? I don't trust these first results when googling shit.

My go-to is NYT Cooking. I pay like $5 a month for it but I use their recipes a ton.

Other sources I trust:
America's Test Kitchen cookbook
Sally's Baking Addiction
The Spruce Eats
Binging with Babish

I used to use Allrecipes in the past because the reviews and comments are really helpful, but the UX of their site is just so terrible now, especially on mobile.

Man, recipes really are the last reliable thing they have to offer.

lmao okay
I really don't understand the hate for this guy. He literally explains why and how for each step of the recipe. His Basics videos are easy to follow and really helpful. And if he fucks something up he also explains that too.

If you like Babish you really like America's Test Kitchen and Kenji of a Thousand Names because he just lifts all his "recipes" and content from them.

NYT cooking is an excellent resource, I don't think there is or had ever been a better collection of recipes. It's a shame so many poorfags here have to rely on recipes that aren't good enough to justify a subscription fee.

Do some research; find the best knowledgeable pro chefs in different subjects
>thai: David Thompson
>BBQ: Lennox Hastie, Niklas Ekstedt
>french fancypants fine dining: Daniel Humm
>modern Scandinavian: Rasmus Kofoed, Esben Holmboe Bang, Fredrik Berselius
And so on. I usually start out with finding youtube videos from chefs, and then transition into buying cookbooks if I like what I see and learn.
