he actually has a point. there is more than just "trace amounts" of estrogen shit in beer.
people always whine about phytoestrogens in soy sauce and therefore in asian foods. and there is some. but in reality there is literally 50x times more estro shit in regular lager beer than there is in soy sauce.
constant/excessive beer drinking is one of the biggest traps in life. there's nothing manly about it. enjoy your low life quality, bad sleeps quality, low mood, impotence etc gay shit.

Johnnie Walker Black is the perfect compromise. It's sweet, rich and very smooth, but without the trashy notes of a bourbon. It's got the beautiful flavour of a scotch without being so complex that you have to sit down and contemplate to truly enjoy it. I love a complex scotch, but sometimes I just want a good whisky. Johnnie Walker Black is that whisky.

I've always hated whisky but I knew that I must have been missing something because of how intense the hobby is. I picked this shit up and decided to try tasting it several different ways.
I added a bit of water but it made it taste trashy, so I've stuck to drinking it room temperature and neat, but my methods vary slightly each time. Smelling is really important and holding it in your mouth as well, from what I can tell. I actually enjoy sipping it, but I'm taking really small sips to get true enjoyment out of it. truth. whats funny is the faggots obsessed with whisky/bourbon don't even have stressful jobs or life. often don't even have children. it's one thing to need a whisky to "UNWIND" at the end of a long stressful day. but the homos who are obsessed with it do jack shit all day. wtf are you "unwinding" from? repressed homosexuality? theyd be better off getting 100% sober and clear headed and getting their life together. instead of larping as "tough men" obsessed with a brown spirit

this scotch used to go very hard
love from America
I hate Brown-Forman so much its unreal

>>17271563
The discussion is about using using virgin oak barrels at all, not about how they're used. Realistically the flavor they give is too heavy to use during the whole maturation. I don't think they could be used for more than finishing or as a small portion of the casks used in a single malt/blend. American malts use virgin oak barrels and they usually go for pretty short aging.

>> No.17271655

>>17271617
Well yea, in Scotland they generally won’t age whisky in virgin oak for longer than 2 years. They consider it over oaked at that point, unlike bourbon.

>Unironically it's a good expression.
The whisky market has become much more competitive in the last 10 years as a younger customer base has entered the fray. Most of the inspiration comes from the craft beer scene and it's kind of retarded. Either way, the worst way to choose a whisky is by the label anyway, it's all just bs to make you feel a certain way about the product.

I prefer the smooth vanilla and caramell flavors you get from 2nd fill casks.
