Do you ever eat frozen dinners? Which one do you prefer?

>> No.17251021

I eat the banquet brand "backyard BBQ" or something like that a lot.
I really like their rib shaped patties.
Unfortunately the price has been going up.

I can't stand the fried chicken ones though that shit doesn't work.

I only eat foods that also describe me

I like the bertolli frozen skillet meals, decent selection of different shit and done in like 12 minutes. They're not a substitute for real cooking, but they're better than most other frozen meals I've had over the years.

I never get the premade frozen dinners, cheaper to mix and match sides from bulk frozen. Chicken Nuggets, Green Peas, and Frozen Potatoes can make like 6 meals for ten bucks and it's basically the same shit as a frozen dinner for almost no extra effort.

That's real great in fantasy land but it doesn't work in reality when you get home from work and just want something done.

You posted it, the gravy helps an otherwise bland meal taste fine.
>>17251099
This about sums it up; in an age where stay at home wives/spouses are on the down turn its not unreasonable for a tired man coming home from work to decide he doesn't want to put in the effort to make a decent dinner and just pull one of these out of the freezer.

not really anymore, no. the only things i stick with are marie calendars chicken pot pies and a frozen pizza if a good one is on sale once in a blue moon

honestly a lot of frozen stuff is a worse value proposition than fast food, a lot of the "meals" i see are only 300-500 calories for $3-$5. fast food gives you more bang for your buck. i dont know what world people live in where 300 calories is a fulfilling meal, but i am not on that planet

In italy we have many, this brand is always taste good even if you know it's frozen and has that frozen aftertaste.
"Pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale/ Long pasta with wild boar minced meat sauce"
It's pricy but taste really good for me, it's my favourite.

Incredibly based. One of the fattest things I've ever done was get the medium size tray and see how much I could down in one sitting. It was 2/3 of a tray

Also like the frozen Zatarain's and Barber Foods Cordon Bleu.
