To reiterate on this: clients can adjust tip values for up to an hour after their delivery. Uber Eats doesn't tell you anything until that value has been finalized. I still get paid by Uber whether you tip me or not. I appreciate any tip obviously, but it's disingenuous to tell people any tips are shown beforehand. Hell, I don't even tip if the place is close to me. The driver still gets paid.

i'm a driver and have driven for apps that hide the tip amount until you complete the order (its called Favor in texas).

the main issue with these apps is that the app doesn't automatically adjust the minimum tip amount according to the miles driven.

so for the OP pic, a 19 min drive should require a minimum 4-6 dollar tip for gas and wear and tear on the car, gas costs should be determined by the city and state you live in also. i don't care if it comes from app fees or customer tip
