>1 cup of X
>3 cups of Y
alright alright no need to know it in grams, it is still ratios so it should work
>5 table spoons of Z
shit i don't know if my spoon is the right size but whatever
>2 eggs (doesn't mention size of egg)
alright fuck this, why do cooking websites use these archaic ways of measurement?
Why not use a scale like a proper human being?
>inb4 filtered
i don't want to cook something billion times before i learn it, give me the recipe in grams you fucking apes. ingredients are expensive.

>Standardized
according to what organization and according to who?
it is bad enough to measure in ounces and other american nonsense but cups and spoons are on a whole other level of retarded.

Nah, fuck you and fuck your mom and fuck your dog.
>how do I know if my spoon is right
You use a fucking measuring spoon, dipshit.
Or you can use your brain for half a second and just Google some fucking conversions for the ingredients you’re using.

The fuck do you want? "Add 80 grams of egg"?

you make it sound as if it is a standardized way of measuring. how do i know if Nancy's cup is big or small and Jessica's cup is the big one?
who the fuck came up with this garbage? no wonder people don't want to cook anymore and everyone is just eating from McD's.

>>17227794
there is small (40 g), medium(60g), and large (80 g) eggs. see? that wasn't hard.

Yeah american recipes are annoying to read, especially when you have cups of flour and cups of something more dense like oil.
A cup of flour is around 150 gr while a cup of oil is 236ml
So you can't easily replace it in your head with grams, the first time I used american measurements I just assumed a cup is 150 gr regardless

Cooking isn't a fucking science, and neither is baking for that matter.

I'm glad I was born in a country where people aren't too retarded to understand the value of having both ergonomic measures and scientific measures. Enjoy your half-litre of beer, faggots. I'm having a pint.
