Cheese is a worthless ingredient until it's been infested with maggots.

Delicious. I feel terrible for people who're too afraid to try it because of a little insect.

It's ok, it taste a little bit like ammonia. Not something I would consume often or look for.

I had it on my last trip to Europe, got stuck there because of COVID and looked for stuff to do. Luckily I already worked online and was able to rent a place. Looked through the webs for things to do and found out about this on some weird tourist attractions website.

Now upon seeing the cheese, it looked fine in the distance, but when a peice was cut for me, oh my. The hard regular cheese bit had a soft googey pale mass over it that didn't resemble cheese at all. Oh yeah, and maggots were activly falling out on to my hand as I pondered this oddity, looked like something from a dumpster, smelled like it too.
I ate it, the interplay between the hard and soft component was fine but THE POPPING, I tryed to forget that live maggots were spilling their insides into my mouth, and swollowing this rancid nutty bolus to my esophagus took a minute, I refused ti take another bite and tryed to keep myself from vomiting, no way that is passing through my mouth again.

I recommend it, wouldn't do it again though.
