When INO first opened a place in Austin my dad and I went and the line was long and the food was mediocre. Later they opened one closer to my house and I went there and the line was nonexistent and the food was pretty good. I don't think I've ever had another burger joint as if I want grilled or raw onions or both on my burger. I'm a fan but I won't go to any of the locations that people know about. Same with CFA, if I want lunch there and I go to a place off the highway they have a line wrapped around the building. Go to a more secluded one and everything's chill.

I've have this same thought about the CFA and Popeyes near where I work. The lines back out through not only the establishments' parking lots but adjacent parking lots and into the main traffic. I dont understand how you want a chicken sandwich so badly you see that line and are okay with the fact that you've stopped your car in the middle of an intersection.

There is a good burger place nearby that I would go to on occasion. Then In-N-Out opened up next to it and people that didn't want to wait in line went to the other place instead making the wait times a lot longer. Then CFA opened up next to In-N-Out and just exasperated the problem.

Cook Out is trash, the only benefit is that it's ultra cheap gristle for poor people with bible verses printed on it so you can be reminded you're going to hell for gluttony (which, I admit, is almost as based as the guy who invented the Heart Attack Grill).

I don't get the hype. they make an anemic burger and grainy weird fries.

I've eaten there twice in 11 years first time I had their fries I thought I had a bad batch. second time was a couple weeks ago. went there with the wife (she'd never been). she noticed the fries immediately.

It's just the novelty when they first open up in areas that don't have them. That looks like the In-N-Out in Aurora, CO. I went there once a few months after it opened and it was a normal line. It was the first one in Colorado and for some reason In-N-Out has built up this mystique. It always quiets down though.
