There's a town I drive through for work that contains two landfills about half a mile apart one of which is on fire. The smell is atrocious some days but I have a strong memory of such a smell. It occurred to me one day what the memory was. It is the smell of a Burger King store. Smells exactly like two burning landfills.

my favorite thing on the menu is the chicken fries
i live in a flyover shithole and used to order them occasionally. they were always too soft but whatever, it was fine, it was what i was used to.
went a trip to San Diego once with my family and we got BK for a quick lunch. for some reason, the chicken fries were fucking god tier. crispy, hot, as if the shit was fresh out of the fryer. i swear, it had some of the fresh out the fryer sizzle. it wasn’t some one-off blessing, because i got some the next day to see if they would still be god tier, and they WERE.
i can’t order them in my flyover shithole anymore because i’m just reminded of how good i had it. my local BK’s are always empty. the fuck is going on on california?

Some people I know seem to have a nostalgic fondness for it, but I can’t relate. Maybe it was better in the past, but they have the worst food out of any fast food restaurant i’ve ever eaten at. Even kfc is better.

I will never return to Burger King after the negress at the counter refused my coupon. She said I had to present it at the speaker which is complete bullshit. She could have easily entered it at the register she just didn't want to. I literally snatched my bag of food from her and drove off. I hope that fat miserable bitch dies of covid.

Burger King in Japan is better than everywhere else. Their culture is amazing and superior to the West. Just being there is so futuristic and honorable (I haven't been yet but I wan). I hope to move there and work in the anime industry and get a local girlfriend and eat ramen and sushi every day!

They did that too me once. He had to void the order out and completely re do. For some reason at burger king their system doesn't allow them to take coupons at the payment window when every other fast food place doesn't have a problem with it.

I miss the BK value menu from 20 years ago that blew everyone else in town out of the water. Getting stoned on lunch break to buy 2 orders of jalapeno poppers 1 mozzarella stick and 2 chicken tenders sandwiches for $5 was great. I still go every now and then to get a few rodeo cheeseburgers and the occasional Chicken sandwich, but it's not as good.
