No peas or beans they're both gross, but If was forced to use one I'd go for the beans

I'm making chili tonight. You better believe there'll be beans

there’s no recipe, it’s your choice. i enjoy beans in a hearty chili, but I also enjoy beanless chili in a chili colorado or a texas red. just bee yourself

Skip the beans, don't forget the sauerkraut.

It's up to personal preference. I don't like beans in chili, so I don't put them in unless I'm making really cheap chili for a group event.

I was told it is not "chili" if there is not at least 3 different types of beans in it.
No beans, no chili. You just have a meat sauce?

You can't fucking have chili without beans, it's just a meat sauce then. You may as well eat straight Bolognese while you're at it.

I know people who unironically put corn instead of beans and don't put cumin in their chili. I hate them very much.

I like beans. They give fiber and filling to the chili.

i dont know because ive never eaten a real chili. in my area we use 'canned chili' for toppings on hot dogs. if there's beans in the cans then it sort of makes the chili bulkier but I could easily pick out some beans from it.
