RIP 7 layer burrito, XXL grilled stuffed burrito, and all other halfway decent items that made a drive thru trip worth it.

TB has really fucked themselves and even bringing back the volcano menu wouldn't fix it at this point. If I'm in the mood for tacos/burritos/whatever, I'll just call in a to-go order at the nearby mexican place and get served by the cute tight little hispanic chick instead of almost literal apes that stiff me on hot sauce packets.

How can they take something great off the menu if there was never a single good product in this chain's history?

I legit do not understand what their strategy is with all this bullshit they've been up to.
Though, on the other hand, their system basically speaks the same sort of 'language' that I'm familiar with, so super specific granular orders are really easy to get. That's pretty neat.

They did that to charge more for the base combo. Beef #6 used to be like $6.49 at my store a couple years ago, now it's $9.69 with chicken as the default and people pay it anyway. That said, it IS a pretty decent amount of food compared to, say, a Wendy's combo for the same price.

Because they do? Your average person has at least 1-2 restaurant apps installed on their device(s). I predict that in the future you will only be able to order through the apps at all fast food/fast casual places. The data collected by this software is extremely valuable to the business.
