For me? It's whiskey on the rocks and listening to my vinyl collection or spotify until I'm drunk enough to decide what movie to watch or game to play. Then when I'm done drinking I'll usually have a smoke and eat something, all in all it's usually a fun time

What you like best. Social drinking restricts you to bars and inoffensive "shareable" drinks so that everyone can get drunk. Being alone means getting to drink what only you like without judgment or passive-aggressive comments (if you're drinking with women). Personally I like picking up Trappist from the liquor store and counting up from Blond to Quadrupel.

What should I do while and after drinking?
Watch movies, eat something good, and enjoy your drink. Go for a walk if you're sober enough.

I'm alone and I just killed a bottle of red wine, Saint-Emillion grand cru 2019 and now I'm drinking a Japanese whisky, Togouchi 9 years it's my 4th glass and I'm already drunk, I plan to cook a 500g salmon filet wit roasted cherry tomatoes and a baguette with butter then I will pass out watching Shining and eating french biscuits, I'm from Belgium.

And it is indeed. But poor people exist everywhere. Just because most people are well off here doesnt mean that everyone is. There are even homeless people, although not many. My problem is that social services pay my rent since I live alone but deduct it from my monthly money I get from them and Im regularly out of cash since everything is still expensive as fuck but I dont make the same money as a normal person with a job.
