no idea pham, but something I love is:
>duck magret a l'orange
but yeah I'd try the foie gras, and also would love to see the way frenchies cook a good quality steak

>> No.17151882

Worth trying definitely. Probably not worth the price though.

If you really like pate yeah it might be worth it. It's just like a fattier more buttery pate. Not worth the money in my opinion but still very nice on toasted brioche with Jabuticaba jam

No it sucks

Like most "fancy" food, it's overhyped. It's so fatty that if I didn't know what I was eating I would have guessed it was straight up fat with a hint of liver.

be sure not to tip, as they dont tip in france

It's really delicious. I was in Paris a few years back and ate foie like 4 times in the span of a week. It's so fucking bomb, been craving it ever since

I guess. I find it disappointing for the price. it’s basically super fatty liver.

I sometimes get it when it goes on sale at the local market. Shit is like $100/lbs.

No it isn’t.

it is literally $99/lbs at my local market.

probably isn't worth it for you chief

If it's done correctly, of course. Actually, even if it's not done that well it's pretty good. At least buy it to piss off bleeding-heart idiots that keep getting it banned.

OP reporting back: tastes like fancy pate, or if spam went to an ivy league college opposed to a state school. fortunately only bought 1oz for $7. likely would not order again.

Thx for reporting. Sad.
Anything else u ordered worth mentioning?

up to you honestly, its nice if you get it done well but its just an app really

>> No.17155657

Seared foie gras is hit or missed. If it's well prepared, it's delicious but it can be overly fat if not. Terrine is not great, I would consider it worth trying. Foie gras au torchon is very good and probably a safe bet.
