Has anyone noticed how bad fast food quality has gotten?

I went to Wendy's yesterday to get a spicy chicken sandwich, been a staple of mine for years.
The chicken patty used to be thick and juicy, but now it's this thin crusty piece of shit.

I have noticed this decrease in quality with most other fast food restaurants.
Is this due to inflation?

Quality is all down because the entire world is now leveling out. Americans are slowly becoming equal to street shitters and africans, so they are losing the higher quality stuff that they used to enjoy. Corporations will serve shittier and shittier things and people will still buy it. Since stuff that is good will cost a lot, boomer and zoomers will stop buying it.

For example, Subway used to be 5$ footlong, that was not tenable back then. Now footlongs are like 10$, and since the pandemic, they cut the meat per sub in half. You have to ask for it as 'prime' or some shit. So the cost of your average sub is now 13$. People will take the shit product for 9.99$ but not the actual product for 13$.

Easiest way to see this is in seafood prices because the whole world uses the ocean for food. My favorite food is crab legs. Ten years ago a nice big bag of alaskan king crab legs was 25$ at the super market. Now it's about 110$.

The rise of "fast casual" restaurants is to blame. Better quality food for only a little more money. The only way for traditional fast food restaurants to make it is to cheap out on their products.
