The cake does seem decent but it's not like the recipe is anything new or advanced or the cake is even particularly nicely plated.
If someone made a really cringy video of themselves boiling an egg people would still be right to rag on it even if the egg did in fact turn out to be boiled correctly.

I don't know, maybe I'm getting old but I think this obsession with cringe as entertainment has overstayed its welcome. Everybody is aware that people behave like absolute retards on social media and at this point it's more depressing than funny to me.
To me this is just like the fake rage that was so popular in the late 00s.
