Wolt. It has many restaurants / fast food places / stores with delivery to your door. Used it 3 times in the past 2 months and has been pretty good.

they're all shit
the apps are just data collection for marketing purposes. data is more valuable than oil in the modern economy.
like anything these days, if it's free then YOU are the product.
also all fast food places are expensive and dogshit anyway

Wendy's is pretty good. They have deals on it every time I check which can save you at least a couple bucks.
They do have this gay shit at the one I go to where you have to go inside to pick up online orders if they're lobby is open. Otherwise you use the drive thru which I prefer.

>if it's free then YOU are the product.
Stop parroting this statement. The Wendy's product isn't free. You pay for the food.
Twitter and Instagram are the free product where "you're the product"

>> No.17078826

Wendy's is probably the best one, and you don't even need to download any botnet apps to use it. The web interface lets you use the coupons all the same.

Once in a blue moon McD might have something ok. BK also has good coupons sometimes (like today and tomorrow), but everything is buggy as shit.

Taco Bell is worthless 99% of the time and I only got it for a signup bonus.

I use them for all fast food in my area because (a) it's the only way to not get ripped off on the prices and (b) I can customize my order without having to explain the changes word by word to a high school dropout

MCD is probably the best. For months that had the new chicken sandwich for like a dollar with any purchase. Yesterday it was like 2 bucks for a 10 piece. Right now all breakfast Sammie’s are a dollar, not bad.

>say I have a mobile order

>are you (my name)?
>yeah
>pull up to the next window

Agree with both of you to some extent.
For the other guy, the there are cases where even if your data isn't the main source of revenue, your recorded data is used to optimize your experience with the service or those of third parties to their benefit in ways which may not benefit yourself.
But if you're employing a fast food app out of convenience or deals, there are several more direct detriments in your habits of consumption before something like potential manipulation to consume it more or less.

For anons, I think the fixation is an expression of aversion to having one's actions and statements having a paper trail by default, combined with a more general desire to express agency when one can for want of it in other areas of life.
Like, just because fast food joints are going to get some anon's $$$ several times a week regardless doesn't mean that anons have to be happy about it or enable it beyond getting the food, so they find purpose in drawing lines and having an actionable stance.

It's not a good app for deals or if you're using drive-thru, but if you're using dedicated parking spots I find it more convenient than drive-thru.
>choose order at home/previous location
>confirm but not pay yet
>drive to location
>go to numbered spot
>confirm spot and pay
>turn off engine and do whatever
>get food taken to vehicle in roughly the same time

don't know how mcdonalds does it, but a lot of places have 2 queue systems now, one for app orders, one for in-person orders (maybe more with drive through etc., idk).
app queues tend to be busier nowadays. and with the drive through, it's likely you were sharing the queue with in-store customers as well. also, you don't know whether other cars were using the app or not. or even if they were deliveroo or whatever pickups. a lot of those nowadays, it's like mcdonalds is a delivery service all of a sudden.

your reason not to use apps can easily be overcome, just by going in with a bit more knowledge and ordering in advance.
the correct reason not to use the apps is because it's designed to track your habits to abuse your primitive brain for more profit, regardless of your physical, mental, financial or any other wellbeing.

This is true but absolutely fucking secondary to getting fast food in the first place.

I have seen a difference for shoes. There is a difference between a mens 10 and a womens 10 (in the US at least) but yeah, i've never noticed much difference about socks. I mean women where weird printed socks with designs on them but there are mens socks that have the same kind of shit on them so...

How pathetic do you have to be to have a fast food app on your phone? Do you have no dignity? If I found out someone I knew had an app for fucking McDonald's I'd instantly lose all respect for them forever.
