Nah, I have PTSD, and I don't want to die, I just get scared by loud noises and usually react with extreme violence when someone jumps out from behind something to surprise me. It's my desire to not die that gave me PTSD, in the first place, the extreme adrenaline reaction I had when a hajji jumped out from behind a a door and started spraying with his AK, dropping down in just the nick of time to avoid his bullets and lighting him up. Brain just goes back to that moment whenever someone tries to "spook" me or on the fourth of July. Dying sounds gay, that guy will never get off another nut or enjoy a good meal or speak with his family ever again.

I tried psilocybin myself (more than once) so I speak from experience. Alcoholism is literally nothing compared to PTSD, how you are trying to tie them together as if they're anything similarly close is beyond me.
