judging by this picture either a lot of messy people ate and left their trash all at the same time for this picture, or this mcdonalds doesn't bother to regularly clean up their restaurant. if an npc sees an empty table or 2 full of trash, what incentive do they have for throwing their own trash away? if they regularly cleaned up the tables people would be incentivized to throw away their own trash to keep it clean

Wipe away a left over combo on the table to the ground to claim a spot and dig in to your food. Clear it fully so you don't confuse your food for trash.
