Depends on what you eat it with.

Usually I prefer to mix 1/3 long grain jasmin with 2/3 long grain basmati for fragrance, taste and texture.

But it really depends on what I cook it for, I mean not all dishes are going well with jasmin or basmati, and for stuff like rice pudding neither is preferred.
