I'm a hillbilly and can read just fine. Even at a high, such as being able read scientific journals or peer-reviews and be able to understand if there's garbage methods or where variables that need to be controlled to provide us with the data that is applicable to the field. Yeah that particular squirrel is an American gray squirrel, they were introduced here by some idiot for who knows what reason. We've a native red squirrel (picrel) here too and there's a colony of those about 5 miles from me.
You can tell the difference by the ears, the red ones have ear tufts like a lynx cat. Sometimes the grays have some red coloring and vice versa so always check the ears
