Yes. May have been hare actually, but it was delicious chopped up in a stew. Can't remember what else was in it, but the rabbit was great.

yea, i got 4 legs from my grocery; oddly it was in their frozen section where the turkeys were. Haven't seen it since, was a few years back

tasted like chicken/pork. White meat, a bit unimpressive. but ok

Farmed rabbit is really bland and not worth the price.

Wild rabbit is really good. It has a very meaty taste like eating a steak very light gamey flavor it has the texture of chicken.

I've had it wrapped in bacon stuffed with herbs, and in a tomato based stew. You're best off hunting your own, if you're buying from a butcher it'll be farmed and chicken is much better value for money if you're not getting them for the price of a $0.50 bullet

It tastes like rabbit, not chicken, most people are morons and say everything tastes like chicken.

I used to live in an old style 5 story building in Manhattan and I'd go up to the roof to have a smoke from time to time and I used to see these old pigeon coops up there and in the hallways. It was pretty interesting knowing from historical stuff that folk used to keep them and eat them, I guess if shit hit the fan so to speak, we'd be doing it again.

It could be worse, it could be racoons going on their run in packs and getting into your garbage cans. Those things are whiley ass bastages. A friend and I with nothing better to do some summers ago used to follow them around in Central Park nyc, they definitely had a pattern and it had to do with a combination of the sunset and when stores in the park were putting out their garbage.

I know that but albinos have red eyes, lutinos in parakeets but they're yellow and with red eyes. Those squirels aren't albino, they don't have red eyes, they just have white fur.

Pickled rabbit is pretty tasty.

I ate it once or twice in a stew a friend of my grandpa used to do. It was really tasty and soft, but it might be because the stew in general was delicious. I remember the man saying that there wasa secret to tenderize rabbit meat in particular, but I have no memory of what it was in particular
