Guys what the hell did I just make?

Dissolved 2 anchovies in olive oil, cooked a small finely diced onion and finely diced chorizo in the oil, added some chopped garlic, hot chilli flakes, olives, tomato paste, 3 small peeled tomatoes and some greek dried oregano, salt & pepper. Cooked it all down til super rich then added a few glugs of cab sav and left to reduce for 20 or so minutes. Boiled & strained some spaghetti then threw it in and mixed it.

It sounds similar to something my friends ma called puttanesca but as far as I know puttanesca never had chorizo. And it tastes a lot better than when I made actual puttanesca.
Pic related eating it with a glass of the cab sav

You just made your own thing. Honestly seems like puttanesca combined with aglio e olio and some meat mixed in. Sounds decent, nothing crazy unique.

sounds good, i usually like to make carbonara on creme fraiche, fry some garlic and red onions in the bacon fat add a big dollop of cream and a ton of black pepper. makes for a really filling and delicious pasta.

sounds similar to my carbonara, though i go with shallots and add a dash of white wine for that extra tartness
