I hate people that do this kind of shit to pets. They "playfully" shame and ridicule their animals for likes, upvotes, shares and the dream of going viral.

At one point cats and dogs were not only our companions but had a significant effect on our survival and quality of life. I hunt with my pointer and it is the greatest bond I've had with an animal, it's hard to properly articulate it without sounding like a homo but it's like we're fulfilling an ancestral activity that speaks to our innermost instincts and desires. Hunting with your dog, what could be better than that? When my sons are old enough I'll take them hunting and it'll be a similar feeling: passing down knowledge and experiences of The Hunt. It's wonderful.

But now we have losers who take their dogs and mock them with signs like "I stole the chicken off the counter" or "I'm a bad buy because I thought the chair was a toy" and treat them as pathetic ersatz babies. It's despicable and a reflection on the owners not the dogs. The dogs would gladly be off hunting and working with their owners or just exploring the outdoors instead of gleaning food from the counter and being forced to wear Halloween costumes for their owner's vapid social media obsession. Their owners have lost many of their own best natural instincts and therefore impress this hollowness upon a wonderful animal who was selectively bred to be humanity's ultimate companion and partner.

I actually work full time in IT and Doordash just for extra bullshit money. I only look in a customer's bag to make sure their orders are correct because we get fucked over by restaurants often. Most of the time their food is sealed anyway.
