It was my first time getting it since pre-covid, and it's still just as cheap as it used to be. I really like how they put the noodles and meat and toppings in one container, and you just assemble it yourself. It always kind of blows my mind how well it works at home with virtually zero effort; there's not much else you can say the same about. (It came out Friday and is goty.)

The broth comes on the side, and is hot when you get it, but I always throw it in a pot and bring it back up to heat. You also need to provide your own bowl, but that's about the extent of the DiY.

The place I get my pho from tends to come with a plastic bowl with the noodles, veggies and protein of choice in there. All you basically have to do is add the broth.

Yep. I usually just get the #1 combo, which is well-done flank, lean flank, fat brisket, tripe, tendon, and rare steak. The rare steak is literally raw in a little baggy and frozen, and they poor the broth over it right before serving, so they just throw the baggy in the box for you to do it yourself.
