Assuming you actually cook the potatoes, yes, you'll be fine. I never peel potatoes because it's such a hassle

I dont eat the skin of my organic home grown potatoes, but will eat the skin of cheap store bought ones. Am I retarded?

A potato that's produced under the standards required to call it organic.
>>16995311
Wrong.

>> No.16995376

I wouldn't do it. Potato farmers put sprout inhibitors after harvest. Things like Chlorpropham. If you're okay with eating that, go ahead.

>produced under the standards required to call it organic.
Those standards can actually lead to the crop being sprayed with more pesticide

Yeah, the "organic" label is pretty shit. In Italy I know they use "bio", short for biologic, for that.

'organic' produce is still sprayed with pesticides bro

>> No.16996764

Organic has nothing to do with GMO. You can have organic GMO products. Organic means no pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, etc. Most of them have to use manure as fertilizer, which means that organic foods are not vegan.

>> No.16996774

>Organic means no pesticides, herbicides
Wrong, but there's certain types of pesticides and herbicides that aren't allowed.
