I've read some Finnish and English reviews of that Laava restaurant and it seem to have suffered from having too many menu items (all available at unclear time based the day/position of the planets/room where you are being served at) , varying quality of the food / drinks in comparison to the relatively high prices and lacking staff. The hyped decor looked tacky, more in the realm of childrens sections of amusement park fast food restaurant rather than interesting / exotic restaurant with millions behind the design of it. Obviously it's easy to hide behind other factors when you forgot to mention the thing about failing in restaurant management.

If you look at his videos you will see his recipes require a ton of ingredients, preparation, and sometimes specialized equipment. If you've ever been in a science lab where directions have to followed precisely that's what his cookbook recipes feel like.
His spice blend recipes also take work to make. Not just mixing spices, but toasting things like whole spices, flour, or anchovies, then grinding them up, passing through sieve, etc.
I have his Volume 3 which contains the chemistry behind using certain foods or how they react. Most of it is academic but parts of it are applicable in everyday cooking. If you have lots of free time and disposable income for specific ingredients then go ahead, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Starvation is almost always a matter of logistics. Not being able to get enough food to one place.

Right now, we're not even close to producing at capacity. We could produce much, much more. In fact, we overproduce and there is a fuckton of foodwaste.

World hunger is has almost become a thing of the past and the places in which people starve, the reason is always war (central Africa), extreme isolationism (North Korea), economic stagnation (Central and South America) or extreme wealth inequality.
