This. Americans have such deep insecurity about their cuisine, that they invented this lie about Italians seething over their cuisine all the time. This makes it possible for them to draw attention away from the pain of not being best at something and over to "Italians being seething autists". It's simply a coping mechanism. Italians of course doesn't give a flying shit about what disgusting shit Americans shovel down their throat.

The people that do get upset are usually LARPING Americans (after all, no other people gets more offended on behalf of others than Americans).

2)Eat it in a bowl, not off a plate, and make sure the bowl is large and has high, straight sides
3)You can eat spaghetti with a large spoon and fork, not just a fork if you find this easier, some people complain about the spoon (It's not Italian!!!!) but in America this is an accepted convention
4)Learn how to use the spoon and side of the bowl to help capture the strands of spaghetti and twirl them properly around the fork, it's a game changer
