Ernst Junger described Tea as a phantasticum, Coffee as an energeticum. I personally prefer coffee, but tea is generally easier to make and overall calmer.

Both but I love tea. I just finished sipping a nice refreshing brown sugar bubble tea right now. That's a treat tho, usually I drink healthier tea's.

he's not wrong, there are chemicals in tea that can cross the blood brain barrier and have a very very mild effect, people call it being tea dunk

>> No.16882667

Tea is superior. Coffee is good occasionally for different flavor.

I like coffee plenty, but prefer tea. Gongfu brewing is super easy and rewarding, and you can still get excellent leaves very cheaply as long as you avoid hype trains/teas aimed at women.
If I'm at an establishment that offers espresso I will absolutely get it, but I don't trust anyone else to brew my tea, and nor should you.

Mate is still somehow extremely underrated. Idk why everyone says it's too bitter, that has never been my experience. It's a much smaller and less interesting world than tea or coffee though.

Tea has a larger and more interesting range of flavors so tea obviously
