I know Euros may have this one beat; those Belgian and Dutch street frites/patatje are incredible.

The best fries around were at Eulogy bar in Philly. But the owner got sick of joggers and moved back home and shut the place down.

The ones at home.

Dutch street fries are a frozen abomination laced with American factory sauce. Preferably served with dogfood level "frikandellen" or "Mexicanos".

At least here in Belgium some manage to use fresh potatoes/refresh their oil in a timely manner.
