>heat cast iron skillet on medium-high
>let cast iron heat up for ~10 mins
>rub olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder onto steak
>throw steak onto hot cast iron skillet for 3 minutes per side for a nice sear
>throw steak into 420'F oven for ~5 minutes to make the inside nice and medium rare

>Mix up 8 oz of diced green chilies, a half cup of chilipowder, tbsp cumin, tbsp of oregano, a few cloves of garlic chopped.
>Smear this evenly on top of the meat.
>put into covered roasting pan
>in oven for 3.5 to 4 hours
>mix and shred meat
