There's a Bundaberg apple cider shortage in this state, it's very unfortunate.

Bundaberg ginger beer diet. Probably the best implementation of sweetener in a drink. Cant go back to the sugar crap.

>> No.16780212

Bundaberg honestly makes the greatest ginger beer I've ever tasted. Even their diet version is stella. I've tried their Sarsaparilla and thought it was ass, but I was a lot younger. They did root beer for a while and I tried that too but didn't like it. My tastes have changed as I've gotten older so root beer is now something I like so I imagine I could enjoy Sarsaparilla now too. But for real they make a 10/10 ginger beer. Hear their rum is good too.

The rum is a different company made in the same region, and it's shit rum.

One night per weekend I get pretty smashed. It's a long tradition. If I'm drinking beers or whatever I always make sure I have a Bundy regular ginger beer in the fridge to get me through the hangover, unless I've been drinking bourbon. If I've got a bottle of bourb at home I get the diet ginger and hoo lawdy is it perfect. Bourbon's too sweet and cloying to follow-up with sugar in the morning.

Bought a 4-pack of the root beer a while back. It was among the most revolting beverages I've ever tasted. It literally tastes like vomit. I've seen critics of this stuff get accused of having corrupted palates due to excess sugar consumption, but I don't even like sweet things. It's just bad. Took two sips, poured the rest down the drain, and threw the remaining three bottles in the trash. My wife hated it too.

> I've seen critics of this stuff get accused of having corrupted palates due to excess sugar consumption
The reasonable criticism of bundy products is that they're way too sweet though

>> No.16780831

>>16780815
Haven't seen any of the rest in stores where I live, but I doubt the root beer fits into that category. I didn't detect any sweetness... just straight up bitter/sour in the worst way.
I would give Bundaberg another chance with the lemonade, though. Even bad lemonade is still good.
