Just had a Greek style pizza today. Flavor of the cheese and crunchy crust never disappoints.
(Half pepperoni, half sausage)

Is Greek-style pizza a specific thing? This is pizza from a place owned by Greeks near me (Pennsylvania). It's different from other pizza around but I thought they just did their own thing lol

This, you can tell they're just using the same dough as their house bread. It's briliant.

Absolutely. I'm in PA too. Greek places will use a pan with oil, which then usually makes the crust more crisp. Also you'll notice Greek pizzas are more of a perfect circle, moreso than the hand stretched ones that are thrown right into the oven.

anon, anyone can go into wikipedia and edit the posts and information there. look carefully at the bottom of this .org page. you'll notice the information reads well and sounds legit, but here at the bottom we have a hyperlink sponsored page and OOPS! it directs you to a neo-nazi webpage about swastikas!

Pizza came from Turkey in the first place, so arguably Greek pizza is closer to being authentic.

I beg to differ. I'm Italian and love traditional pizza.. but the Greeks are masters in their own right.

In the comment I wrote half pepperoni, half sausage.
Most places use crumbled sausage, but this place in the pic uses sliced sausage links.. which I think i like better.

Kino food. I pity people who don't eat Greek food regularly.
