Yeah I've heard of it but basically Americans are fat retards who just flush their hot oil, why the fuck else has this product never taken off here? It's also imported so it's rather expensive, more than a Hulu or Disney+ subscription for fat tards, embarrassing.

Japanese people can't lift the pan to pour it into an already heavy for them glass jar. It is more reasonable to stop up oil with an industrial thickener and then throw into the trash bin with wooden sticks

the main staple dish of nipponland is sushi which is literally just fish on rice
their curry is just watered soup
ramen is just inferior version of authentic Chinese noodles
even instant noodles is taiwanese (Chinese) and not from japan

This. I just wash out and keep empty jugs, like milk or orange juice, in a small cabinet. let the oil cool a bit then use a funnel that I keep up there as well.

I keep a jar and just reuse it until it's gone, but I rarely deep fry anything. The product seems to be aimed at people that are going through a pot of oil a day.

Solidifying oil is a method that is becoming obsolete.
Pouring it into bottles and reusing it as fuel is the way to go in Japan these days.

just put ice cubes in a soup ladle.
dip it into the broth/soup/liquid that has oil in it.
the ice cools the oil, solidifying it and making it stick to the ladle.
then just wipe it off with a paper towel and chuck it out in the garbage.

I'd assume it's due to the average Jap living in a tiny apartment and wanting to be as minimalistic as possible, they probably to get rid of their oil with magic sprinkles than into a jar when full, also recycling/garbage autism, they're strict as hell when it comes to what they throw away

American here, I had no idea people did that until I had a girlfriend who tried to dump like a quart of fucking grease straight into the kitchen sink after we got done frying food. I had to stop her and she just got very confused and angry and it turned into a big fight because she thought I was crazy for not just pouring grease in the sink. In her mind, it was fine because she was running hot water down the drain at the same time.

I just flush my grease down the toilet. Toilets have bigger pipes than sinks so you don't get clogs like you can by pouring stuff down the sink.

I do this but with urine and instead of recycling it it goes into the under-the-bed black hole. Once in a while, the hawking radiation produces an old urine bottle which I'm either forced to throw back into the black hole or dispose of in the trashcan that never gets taken out.
