Popeyes was always a good alternative to KFC. Back in the 2010, before KFC turned to complete shit, I would get their chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. Then I would go across the street to get some fries and biscuits from popeyes for the perfect meal.

McDonald’s did a really good approximation at first(maybe slightly dryer) and the spicy version was great but they rapidly stopped giving a shit at least at the McDonalds near me and they began to taste like ass. I like that it's not overly seasoned, it has a nice flavor but it isn't assaulting me with spices. There's a time and place for lots of spices and stuff, but Chick-fil-A is a welcome change of pace.

This is one of my favorite features. Restaurants should have a small number of great items instead of a large number of mediocre items, especially in fast food where all the workers are retarded teens. Most of my favorite restaurants have small menus and I think that's part of the reason.

This. No one has beat the Chick Fil A sandwich, but there is an anti-christian hatebase that will forever act like something is wrong with a well run restaurant that allows their employees to be off on Sundays.

The single only better chicken breast sandwich I have had is the Big Red at Miller Ale Houses, which is hardly a comparison because it's a giant double butterrflied buffalo breast with a cheese slice and butter toasted bun. It's always crispy, good amount of balanced toppings, sauce, etc. Its not a fast food sandwich, though, just tasted really good. Cracker Barrel does a great sunday special of two buttermilk fresh-fried breasts too.

I've never had the Popeye's one, I think chicken sandwiches are overrated in general. Nuggets or whole fried chicken are almost always the best meat:money ratio and tend to be better than the sandwiches overall anyway. So if I go somewhere to eat chicken, you can bet it won't be a sandwich.
