>Decide to cook for the first time today anything besides super baby basic shit, try Spam and Mash
>Already fucked up by putting it in the fridge instead of leaving it out
>Cut it way too thick, roommate who knows what he’s doing corrects me
>Literally two minutes later the fire alarm goes off
>My dumbass misread wikihow which says 5 minutes, I read it as PER SIDE
>Panic as everyone comes downstairs and sees me panicking because I’m a fucking cooklet
>Just end up settling for a precooked meal by one of my other roommates

How the fuck do I learn basic fucking cooking skills without screwing stuff up? I wish I cooked with my Mom more and it really shows

You have to shitpost on this board more before the cooking skill is magically bestowed upon you. Start by making hard boiled eggs and slowly move your way up to making more complex egg meals like scrambled and sunny side up. Eventually you'll get it and everything else is just like making those three things.
