From what I remember the Canadian A&W is basically a separate corporate entity.

It’s pretty expensive these days but the quality is good for fast food. Nothing like a teen burger to get me through a hangover. And the uncle burger is nice too. I usually get two buddy burgers ostensibly for my dog but I always eat one on the way home and then put the sautéed onions on the second one on my burger, take a few bites and give her the remaining half. But she gets the tomatoes from my burger so I don’t feel bad.

If you genuinely need an ambulance you aren't charged, but because Healthcare is "free" here you can just call up the hospital and request that an ambulance be sent to pick you up and take you to the hospital and they have to oblige, but they will charge you for that.
