you can get a glass scraper for it, also they make this pink creamy soap specifically for glass cooktops

There is no way your glass is stained forever from soup, worst case scenario (no cleaner works) buy some peroxide from the pharmacy and mix it with a tiny amount of sulphuric acid cleaner (drain cleaner) this makes a solution called piranha solution in very dilute form, it should eat away amy organic shit on the glass.

The only things that can permanently damage ceramic cooktops are scraping it with pots and pans, dropping heavy shit on them, letting the burners go at full blast with nothing on them or letting sugar get on the burner and then never cleaning it. Just buy a bottle of ceramic cooktop cleaner from your nearest hardware store or home center. They're only like $6. Barkeeper's friend or similar mild abrasives will also work.

Super high maintenance nonsense.
My wife had one of these "style over substance" cooktops. It takes a good 10 minutes

to clean, with some noxious chemical nonsense.
And God forbid you want to use cast iron....
Divorced now, but from here on, I'll always count a glass cooktop as a red flag.

Drain cleaners are alkali-based or enzymatic

Peroxide from a pharmacy is sold at a 3 wt% concentration and by the time you buy it most of that's gone.

Actual cook here too, so I’ll help you out OP.
Rub the soup stain/residue with salt.
Then lay wax paper on top of it
In a bowl combine equal parts distilled vinegar and butter (unsalted), and add some extract. It doesn’t matter what extract. Vanilla, anchovy, ghost pepper, whatever. It’s the extract part that’s important.
Spread mixture over the wax paper on top of your soup stain.
Let it harden as the reaction continues
When it begins to crack, lift the whole thing using the edges of the paper.
Your soup residue will be gone.

>piranha
I mean... sure... You're not wrong, but you can buy piranha solution at various strengths in well-sealed, leakproof containers. If you do have to make it, add the peroxide to the sulfuric acid (not the other way around) very slowly. It can heat up and boil very quickly, spewing piranha solution everywhere and wreaking all kinds of havoc on your respiratory system. If you have to use it, don't just douse things with it for much the same reasons: bubbling, release of gas... ventilation and PPE are a must. For the most part, high grit abrasives (like a scotchbrite sponge) will work great with a little glass cleaner, oven cleaner or CLR.

Things that never happened.

I've cooked on two different glasstops, neither of which your scenario has happened, one a low-end, one a high-end. If anything, it takes forever to come to temperature and I've never experienced a stain, sure burnt spills, which required a scraper and it didn't stain.
