This is actually the best answer you will get. Add more, actual cheese into it. This is the only thing that genuinely improves the taste, rather than being a distraction, like literally anything else that people typically add.

Sweat half an onion and 2-4 sliced up hot dogs. Add the cheese sauce packet and 1 Tbsp dijon, the milk and butter. Mix in the cooked pasta with a dash of pasta water. Finish with cholula hot sauce to taste.

Finely chopped spinach, sharp cheeses like romano and parmesan, a lil garlic powder, some dried mustard and maybe onion powder. Makes it tasty and healthy.

Opie, your post implies you're intending to use actual Kraft Mac and Cheese, then try to "put a new patch on an old coat".
Just make you own mac and cheese from scratch.
I prefer farfalle pasta, heavy whipping cream, and a mix of mostly soft cheese with some hard cheese. Cheddar, Havarti, Gruyere all work well especially mixing cheddar with a smokier cheese, along with some Romano, Asiago, or Parmesan.
Far better than anything from Kraft.
I like to mix in browned kielbasa and broccoli.
p.s. Your pic spells both "macaroni" and "cheese" correctly, but you somehow got both wrong.

I don't bother with that stuff anymore. I just buy the frozen Stouffers mac and cheese and bake it.

I add lightly blanched broccoli, chopped garlic, and bacon bits. Ideally you would also replace the mac with better pasta and also use a better cheese, but by that point you might as well make your own roux with a mix of sharp cheeses. Onion powder and chilli powder can be added to an "instant" mac and cheese to make it not as plastic tasting.

Make it with table cream instead of milk. Fry up some ground beef with taco seasoning and mix it in

Just googled this, and hmmm....
It would have never occurred to me to use flour in mac and cheese.
