Eating it's a meme, you go to nice restaurant for drink and snort coke in bathroom

Yeah going to expensive restaurants is just taking too much of a chunk out of my paycheck. I’ve got to get better at cooking kek.

You're going to the wrong restaurants if that's the case.

I spent $350 on dinner for two last week and it was far better than the $80 dinner we had the week before that.

Not to say the $80 meal was at all bad or not worth the price, but the $350 was clearly a step or two beyond that.

>step or two beyond that
That’s what I really mean. The nice restaurant was definitely on another level, but not nearly enough to justify the price imho.

As is the case in basically everything, at a certain point you're spending a LOT more for only minor improvements.

You don't really think a Ferrari is worth $250,000+ in performance/comfort over your $30,000 sedan do you?

A $30 bottle of wine tastes good, and a $200 bottle tastes better, but while it might cost 7x as much, it certainly doesn't taste 7x as good.

then maybe the $80 restaurant you go to is crap
