also good coffee is delicious black, but personally super dark roasts just suck and aren't good for that, medium or light with a fruity flavour is a must.

“Sugar” (assuming you mean sucrose) is 50/50 glucose/fructose
The most common HFCS formulation is 45/55 glucose/fructose.
Literally a difference of 5%.
