I'm going to a German restaurant/beer garden soon and I would like some suggestions for food and beer

then it would be correct. you only have bell pepper stripes in it. it's a tomato based, mildly hot and spicy sauce.
the only sauce mushrooms belong into is Jägersoße. but mushrooms in Zigeunersoße is an abomination. just like you would put peas into chili con carne
