there are so very very few pastry chef jobs/careers out there even in large coastal cities. it's a fun impressive job but they are rare. most restaurants are scaling back pastry programs hard

im a chef with a very solid resume and multiple headhunters have told me point blank and off the record there's a swath of restaurants looking specifically for female chefs. pretty gay bros
