The classic British Sunday roast has something for all tastes. You like yours a little on the pink side? A slice from the middle will hit the spot! You like it brown through and through? Take the heel slice then. Your piece is extra seasoned that way too. And we've got plenty of gravy too!

It puzzles us to see our cousins across the pond carve the Roast up into steaks and then bicker about how best to cook them. Why don't you just take the Roast pill? We have something for everyone. And gravy!

No, in reality everyone here overdoes the fuck out of their roast so it's grey and like eating leather. Good news though, it's all gonna get covered in gravy so you get a big plate of same-tasting mush.

There's that thing about British people having awful food. I don't think that's fully true, we have some good stuff, but the fact that a roast is nearly universally loved here despite being utter shit certainly lends credit to that reputation.

Classic British Sunday roast isn't supposed to be pink. It's supposed to be overcooked, like beyond well done.

The idea is good, sadly the execution is shit.

sunday roast is unironically shit, i am british and no wonder we have a reputation for bad food. at least with turkey its less shit, especially if you make your own gravy from the roast pan after, but most people just use store bought SHITE and most people eat overcooked to fuck leathery roast beef.
