I get the regular black label standard exclusively, I'm not huge into vodka but I drink it neat at room temperature and I like it more than anything else I've tried. It has a sweetness to it without being sweet, if there's any way to make that make sense.
blog post aside, is the gold worth it over the black, considering I'll be drinking it neat at room temp?

It's not peppery at all it's very smooth but it's also on the sweeter side. It's not good for something savory like a martini but you can still get away with it. Very overpriced imo. You can blind taste it next to something like Reyka and never tell the difference.

I used to buy titos and then a few years ago it started tasting different. I cant pinpoint when, but one day i made a vodka soda and it tasted almost powder sugary. Kinda like the aftertaste you get from a basic icing sugar that you use for christmas cookies thats just powdered sugar and water.

Am i crazy? Anyone else experience this? Every now and then ill get a titos and soda somewhere just to see if it still tastes that way to me and it does.

Anyone ever try Double Cross? Slovakian wheat vodka, bought it on a whim cause i liked the dumb square bottle. Actually was pretty good, different taste than a lot of other vodkas, haven't had it in a few years though.
