Any other pork belly fans? I just bought 10 lbs from Costco and sliced up half of it, blanched it and froze it to use in stir fries or stews in the future. Adds great flavour!

I always blanche pork with ginger or star anise or cloves or orange peels then rinse to get rid of the strong porky gamey taste. Might be more of an Asian thing.

Superior option is to roast it, let it rest then cut and vac seal it and freeze. Then just reheat in boiled water and it comes up like 99% as good as fresh roast pork belly, add to whatever stir-fry/noodles/rice/soup etc you want to add a quick and easy protien

like we boil the chicken with a bit of seasoning and shit and then after boiling for like 6 hours i think? we pick the meat off the bones and put it in a curry sauce boom bada bing chicken curry
