i have only ever had cats and they like fruit and vegetables. particularly ones they can gnaw on. corn, mango pits, apples, papaya, cucumbers, melons, dried fruit. anything from a can, they don't care. they like avocadoes a lot. they pass up bananas, citrus, strawberry and tomatoes

This guy is trolling, grapes/raisins are poisonous to dogs. Don't want to see an innocent dog get sick due to some retarded kid taking 4chan at face value.

Make sure to look up what your dogs and cats can and can't handle eating. They tend to be allergic to a lot of weird shit, not just food wise, but also plant wise (like roses) and additive wise (like fluoride).

My budgie likes some fruits, mostly dried. He's picky about food texture and won't touch anything that isn't crunchy. Actually gets pissed off if I try to feed him fresh banana or similar fruits. Broccoli and lettuce are his favorite non-seed foods. And basil, pic related

Our dogs love blackberries.
Apart from that they don't really eat fruit. One of them will destroy an apple for fun, but she doesn't eat it.
They love raw carrots, though. Presumably because of the crunch.

Something in it, an amino acid I think, tricks them into thinking its meat. They go for it like its meat, it doesn't hurt them so they can have a little bit.

My grandparents had an African Grey. Mr. Hyde. Super smart bird. Learned to say new things almost right away, talked so God damn much. When ever I would spend the night the bird would call out to me in the middle of the night saying it was time to wake up or to have breakfast. I didn't hate him, but troll-bird was a dick for that. I was always nice to him and gave him pats and baths when he asked. My Grandparents have a SUPER thick 30s era Brooklyn accent and so did the bird. I'm glad my grandmother had him placed in a zoo exhibit years before my grandfather died. I couldn't imagine living with an animal that could mimick the exact voice of my dead spouse. Waking me up, making me cry constantly and getting upset all the time just because it's alive and trying to interact with me. My grandma has been a wreck since my grandfather died, the bird would probably make her upset all the time. Thanks for the memory faggot, and for reading my blog post. Click to subscribe.

My cat completely ignores people food. I have offered her chicken, venison, salmon, various dairy products, vegetables, fruits, and baked goods, and she will invariably sniff it for a few seconds, and then sit down and stare at me. She'll demolish a can of wet food or a bowl of kibble, but has absolutely zero interest in anything that isn't cat food.

My cat fucking loves celery and fresh-picked strawberries.
But he never attempts to eat either of them. He just buries his face in them and sniffs like a cokehead.
The one vegetable he does like to eat is romaine lettuce, and he’ll nibble it directly off the leaf in the garden. I asked his vet and was told that most lettuces/cabbages are fine for cats (and can actually help digestion) as long as they don’t overdo it.

Used to feed our dog grapes when I was a kid.
He had a long snout so he couldn't pick them up, but he loved them.
He'd push them around the kitchen floor, all frustrated.
Eventually, he'd be able to mash it against the molding under the floor cabinets, all covered with hair & dirt.
Once mashed, he could eat it, no problem.
