What is the fewest amount of items required in a kitchen?

I once made do with just a toaster oven. Microwaves are kind of easy-mode, honestly.

Just having a hot plate and a pot is good enough. A water boiler is a nice extra if you're drinking hot drinks often.

I have limited counter space and decided to put the kettle into storage instead of the microwave.

Boiling water in the microwave is no different than a kettle, so long as you don't put the teabag in while it microwaves.

The answer your not looking for is none and instead employing a communal dining solution. Its massively cheaper and everyone eats better for the price.

The answer you're looking for: BBQ is the best solution. Don't even need a pan, just a drip tray
