What does /ck/ get from costco

>> No.16526685

>>16526659
I shop at sams club just bc there is only one costco in my area and it isn't close to me. But I've been considering trying costco because we found out they have a liquor store and it's cheaper than the abc/package store. However at Sams they have the scan and go on your phone so you don't have to do any kind of check out, you just scan the shit as you put it in your cart and then just pay on your phone. I haven't used a checkout at a sams in like 2 years and idk how I could go back, especially since the lines at sams are always ridiculous, and I assume costco is the same since like I said there is only one here and their parking lot is always full. anybody know if I can get a costco day pass or something to check it out and see if I like it more than sams?

It's not what I get anymore. It's what I give.
What I give them is half a jar of scooped anthill I quietly dump on a shelf in a random aisle near the back.
They have sowed a lot of ill will with me over the last couple years. Gatekeeping the front door so I couldn't bring my wife in with me, not putting the cafeteria shit back when the fake pandemic was over, and so on.
So I'm done with Costco and I hope they have to spend thousands on exterminators. I can't get back my years of membership fees, but I can make sure those dollars are spent elsewhere.

In America, they were planning to kill the combo pizza all along. At my warehouse, they had already pulled the Polish dog, beef brisket, and turkey sandwich. And still no normal hot-dog condiments. The "rebooted" chicken bakes and churros are garbage (even by consensus of the white-knights on r/Costco). Meanwhile, Canadian Costcos get poutine and fried chicken; most other international warehouses have similarly tasty fare. CEO Jelenik just hates Freedom, apparently, even after we heroic Paying Members got them through the pandemic by bravely continuing to buy Nintendo Switches, Baby Yoda toys, and Kirkland Citra IPA to support the company and let the employees keep their cushy free memberships. Just keep your six-legged friends away from the rotisserie chickens, Ant-Man.

Not everything is in bulk, and even the "bulk" quantities are not huge. For example, you shouldn't have trouble storing eight cans of beans (versus one can) unless you are a college student in a closet dorm-room. Costco is mostly family-consumer focused these days; their real wholesale stores are the Costco Business Centers. For a single dude, perishables like steaks and bread could be an issue, but some of those things freeze well enough. You shouldn't have any trouble getting inside if you say that you're considering a membership and want to look around, so by all means do some comparison shopping.
