Whenever you ask this question, no matter what it is in relation to, the answer is always "Yes". Why? Because we're fucking Americans, and we do whatever we want. Order donuts bigger than our heads? Eat that donut as an entire meal? Go to the Moon? Win every world war? Have the only culture worth talking about in the entire world?

You're god damn right we really do. Because we're American, and you aren't. And that just pisses you off.

While I would never go there of my own volition again unless we have kids, I distinctly remember several restaurants as having pretty great food. The one that sticks out to me most was the Brown Derby, which had really good lobster bisque, scallops, and Filet Mignon.

Oh and I should say I would go for the kids, assuming we could still afford it and the husband brought it up, because even though we're jaded fucks and just chill at state/national parks, I recognize the experience is fundamentally different for kids given the impression it had on me when I was 6.
By the time I was 11 and went again, it already had that forced and fake feeling about it all that I left a bad taste in my mouth, though I didn't ruin anyone else's time with it and just swam in the pool for most of it. I'd take Six Flags or Silver Dollar City over something like DW if I was to make the choice.

American born and raised. Hate the country so much I moved.
Now that our introductions are out of the way...

I think the issue stems from packing a lite lunch. I don't know if the Florida parks are more lax or something but California you'd never get away with it. Water bottles were literally the only thing you could bring in and they'd have to be sealed.

My family's routine for when we'd go would be breakfast -> donut because it's insanely cheap and could get us through the day -> dinner (not at the park)

the picture is literally the first one I found on google

NTAYRT but most parks straight up just allow you to bring food in, if you consider it from the perspective of “sneaking it in” you are severely limiting your options.
